Busiso (J-Star) hits over 2million streams!

The Paradise & Uthando hit maker whom is currently signed under the multi-award winning label MulaNation has just reached a milestone that most underdogs crave for,he has been audiomack verified aswell as reached over 2million streams on his account on audiomack as if it was enough for the lyrical genius he went on to make another 2,6million streams on his Tik Tok account.Busisi also known as J-Star has now joined the league of a few artists in Zimbabwe that are Audiomack verified and in Southern Africa the same league as the like of Nasty C,Tellaman & Cassper Nyovest.

Busiso (JStar) born April 22nd 2002 with the government name Busiso Dube is a singer,songwriter,record producer and instrumentalist.The rapper was born and raised in Bulawayo Zimbabwe then moved to Harare a few years ago.”Music has always been in my blood” says the rapper as he was inspired by his uncle whom he grew up around and was a rapper in the early days of Zimbabwean Hip Hop as it emerged & solidified around 2008.He wrote his first song at the age of nine year and it was for his young-childhood girl crush.The artist is music driven for the love of the art and his music writing inspirations come from the series of events that happen around him and the people that he haa around him.Busiso is currently completing his high school education at Prince Edward as he transferred from Churchill after ordinary level.

Released one compilation in 2019 on the 16th of August an Ep titled Teenage Fever which harbored hit tracks Paradise,Feelings,Star and Uthando,although some of these tracks were already released earlier under an untitled unmastered project which was pre-release but still the fans were loving the songs ,”If its good music people will still love it whether mastered or not” just to quote the rapper.These tracks made a breakout on social media platforms as the challenge got bigger.The rapper also featured on the label collaboration Gang Gang with other various artists including label owner MulaNation.

Busiso will be re-releasing Uthando as a fully mastered version of it.

The rapper sees himself as the face of Zimbabwe and Africa at large in the next 5-10 years as he feels the need that Zimbabwe should have a hip hop representation across boarders something that has been difficult for the genre in many year,although artists like King 98 & Boy Nino after on the verge of the uprise to international level.
